October 22

Well the surgery is over. Ya and now the rehab beginnings. It took almost 12 hrs the first time for the surgery. Then after the surgery i went to the ICU because I was swollen and they were concerned about my throat swelling up. I got out of surgery at 10 pm or so and i woke up 5 am with the tube down my throat I was starting to choke on the tube on my own spit. Then when i was clearing the the tube it was choking me. The next day they got me up on the side of the bed and o my god it hurt like nothing else I have ever felt. Then basically it was very boring hospital stuff.

August 28

I'm sorry I haven't kept the blog up to date. The surgery date is set for September 3 probably late in the day. They said that I would be in the hospital at least for a week. They said it would between reconstruction to a total hip replacement, they will use cadaver bone to replace the bone they cut out then use a steel rod to help stabilize everything. ON top of cutting out a huge piece of tissue and muscle about the size of a tennis ball . The MRI showed the mass has decrease 2 inches totally all the way around. They said that originally it was 5 inches by???? I was lost after the point of being smaller. I started the online classes o yippee class. They are also are going to give me an epidural for the pain. I feel its going to go pretty good I'm just going to leave it at that.

August 8

OK so I didn't realize how long I haven't put up a post so I apologize for that. Everything is really good except for the part that my Xbox 360 broke and I had to send it in. It is basically my life I know it sounds a little bit sad but really. Either A sit around all summer watching the same show I've at least seen three times previously or get on Xbox live and play with the friends I've made over live. The Xbox people say it will take 2-3 weeks but I previously sent in the hard drive for my xbox and it took them 5 weeks for them to send it back. But I'm really excited for Cedar Point tomorrow that's about it for now. Everything has been pretty good with the chemo so far so.

July 16

Well my admission went pretty well it was the long admission I went in Thursday and came home Sunday afternoon. The only thing is that they gave me two units of blood to help my hemoglobin because apparently it was low. They have a different set for having the blood go in. I don't know the whole thing about watching blood go into my body made me nauseous. Then a couple hours later, this was the second day of chemo. Then on the second time the nurse ran the chemo an hour too fast. This made me very nausea more than normal plus I was going to the bathroom like every 15 minutes. She said it was OK they just do it over 3 hrs because people get less nausea with doing it that way. So anyway my body is giving the middle finger to the chemo, in the essence that I lost most of the long hair on the top of my head but I still have the peach fuzz, with some lingering traces of my hair color. After the main loss of hair I've notice some peach fuzz coming back on my shoulder. I've also noticed some things like my nails that they don't grow for a couple days and then like the next morning I end up having to cut my nails. I ended up having to have to bring my own soap to the hospital because their fricken soap really was starting to bother me. It was the smell of doctors and I just can't stand that smell anymore. The July 4 weekend I went camping with my friend Josh. Friday we mainly got his camper to where his parents camper is parked. We then went to see the tall ships that were parked in the Sandusky bay, after that we went and got some ice cream , Mike you would have gone into diabetic coma from how big the ice cream was. I couldn't even finish mine. The large was piled almost a foot tall of ice cream. The place made their own ice cream in the back and sold it in the front. Saturday we all went to Put-in-Bay and drove around in a golf cart all day, and did a whole bunch of stuff. I even got to drive the golf cart they were all complaining about my driving but I just ignored them I didn't complain of one of them that kept driving over the yellow line. Then lastly on Sunday we went and drove the go carts at like a Chucky Cheese. Then we went swimming for 3 hrs, then we packed up and left. I had so much fun that weekend, we are hopefully planning another weekend he again before summer ends.

July 2

Well it was an easier chemo. I only had to stay one night in the hospital which I really liked. We went home at 7 pm but it was nice to be home and be in my own bed. It has been pretty good I just am sort of bored but I happy to be bored for once. Overall its been pretty good but I've noticed that sometimes I notice my skin is all red.

June 23

So its been stop and go. Last Friday I went and had my blood tests. The blood test showed that my white blood count was low. This would mean that I would have to be careful going out in public. We thought we had more time before this would start happening. I know this second round was really hard. I don't know exactly how to explain it. One time in the hospital I had a weird taste in my mouth. Just stuff like that alot of little things that added up to be alot. So its week 6 soon I will have a CAT scan to see how much its shrunk and this will give them a primary idea about what they will need to remove in the surgery. The surgery is hopefully be in August.

June 16

So it was the second chemo. I have recently noticed my hair becomeing loose and being able to pull it out pretty easily. This time seemed to be harder mostly because of how long it was. Three hours for one bag, two hours for the next. I'll write some more once I feel better I'll put more information on.
